Welcome back to my blog. How’s life? I hope all of you feel good. Especially today we must at war with corona virus. Hopefully all of us keep healthy and keep safe.
Today I want to tell about extraordinary behavior. Do you
ever hear ‘extraordinary behavior’?
Let’s discuss it!
Lessons in Leadership and Followership from War. Examining
the context of Army leadership, it’s described how our behaviors are driven by
the situation we are in. The foul environment of war and how this environment
drives extreme behaviors; both extreme courage and sacrifice, and extreme
cruelty. Even outside war it is the situation, and not character, that is the
primary driver behind behavior. Leaders must therefore understand the
situation and know their people before they can effectively lead the group.
Extra-Ordinary Behavior told the stories of four young people: Marcia,
Beverley, Rita and Liam. The style of the play was non-naturalistic and presented
a reality which was very far removed from the real world of East Enders for
example. A set of circumstances brought the four characters together and as
they came to terms with each other and tested each other out, they revealed
their own stories. The play raised many issues including responsibility, trust,
friendship, being misunderstood and how to gain power.
To more clearly, let’s watch this video.
That’s all for today, thank you for
reading!
See you on the next blog!
